Create a reservation update email

An email can be created and scheduled so that an email notification will be sent to the guest when their reservation is modified (for example, if stay dates have changed).

To create a Reservation confirmation update email, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Emails > Scheduled emails.

  2. Next to Pre-stay, click the Create new button.

  3. Choose type — select Reservation confirmation.

  4. Create your email, such as adding the Email subject line, and adding content to the body of the email.

  5. In the Sending rules tab, under When should the email be sent? select Guest updated from the drop-down. A new setting Watch fields will appear.

  6. In the Watch fields drop-down box, select all relevant Reservation details that if changed, will trigger the Reservation confirmation update email to be sent (such as a change to Arrival date or Departure date).

  7. Click Save changes.

⚠️ A reservation cancellation email cannot be created as there is no status option in Reservation details.
